D-dimer. Three clones. D-dimer is a degradation product of fibrin clots and it can be used to help in diagnosing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolia (PE).
CYFRA21-1. Four clones. CYFRA21-1 is known also as a cytokeratin fragment 19. Today CYFRA21-1 is used as standard tumor marker for diagnosis of metastatic growths of cancers from epithelial cells. This tumor marker is elevated in different types of epithelial cancers such as prostate cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma, breast cancer, ovarian adenocarcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, thyroid tumors, colorectal cancer and lung carcinoma.
Interleukin-8. One clone. IL-8 is involved in the pathogenesis of several diseases including asthma, tuberculosis and malignant melanoma. The acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ALI/ARDS), a very serious lung disease, is associated with the presence of IL-8 in the lung. IL-8 can be used also to avoid unnecessary antibiotics treatments when bacterial infections are suspected in newborn babies.
NT-pro-BNP. Two clones. NT-proBNP has become an established marker for diagnosis of heart failure and it may be useful also to establish prognosis in heart failure. NT-pro-BNP concentration is elevated in patients with asymptomatic and symptomatic left ventricular dysfunction.
cTnI. One clone. Clone 9703 recognizes the stable midregion (residues 27-73) of troponin I and it does not cross-react with sTnI, cTnT or sTnT. Clone 9703 reacts mainly with the ITC-complex. This clone can be used as pair with 9701 or 9705.
Respiratory syncytial virus (for RSV F- and nucleoprotein).Three clones. These clones were developed in collaboration Dr. Matti Waris from University of Turku. F- and nucleoprotein specific monoclonals can be used in RSV detection kits and tests.
Although these products are still in the R&D phase they have been produced using the same cell line that will be used for production purposes and therefore the only change will be the product format.
