Discover new study findings of Serum Amyloid A mAbs
SAA antibodies for human and veterinary diagnostics with high specificity and wide detection range
Medix Biochemica presented the findings of a study ‘Monoclonal Serum Amyloid A antibodies applicable to human and veterinary diagnostic immunoassays with wide detection ranges’ in 2021 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo in Atlanta, on September 28th.
Eight mouse monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against human SAA1 were developed and binding specificities of these antibodies were studied in fluorescence-based immunoassays (FIA). The study demonstrated that MedixMAB monoclonal SAA antibodies can be used to develop diagnostic assays with wide detection ranges for measuring SAA levels in human clinical samples. The results show high specificity and strong correlation with the reference methods. The study also concluded that the developed SAA antibodies can also be applied in veterinary diagnostics for highly sensitive measurement of equine, feline, and canine SAA.
Come to meet our team at the 2021 AACC at booth #863 and discuss the study findings!
