Recombinant chimeric Troponin I antibody
Recombinant antibodies with human constant regions (Fc) can provide additional benefits in IVD tests that require the utmost sensitivity, such as high-sensitivity cardiac Troponin I testing. Medix Biochemica is committed to offering multiple antibody versions to meet all customer needs, and we are delighted to launch recombinant chimeric versions of our top performing cTnI monoclonal antibodies. Complementing our recently launched recombinant monoclonal antibody offering of cTnI RC9701 and cTnI RC9750, we are now introducing MedixMAB cTnI RC9707. These three troponin antibodies all have different binding epitopes in the most stable regions of the Troponin I molecule, and they carry human IgG-derived Fc, to reduce human anti-mouse antibody (HAMA) interference effects.
A new monoclonal antibody for SAA detection
Medix Biochemica is a leading supplier for monoclonal antibodies used in detection of Serum Amyloid A (SAA); an inflammatory biomarker that can be used in IVD tests to study viral infections or systemic inflammation. We are continuously expanding our offering, and we are now proud to inform about another great addition to the portfolio: Anti-human SAA monoclonal antibody 2209, catalog number 100806. This mouse monoclonal antibody is also applicable for veterinary testing; it reacts with feline, canine, and equine SAA proteins.
